Shower Bench Extension Kit for Sliding Transfer Benches

ALUMINUM CONSTRUCTION: The horizontal extension kit is made from durable yet lightweight aluminum, ensuring stability and preventing rust. It will eliminate any wobbling or tipping of the shower chair during use in the shower. EASY INSTALLATION: These rails can be installed quickly and easily, requiring no tools. The entire extension kit can be added to your transfer bench in less than 5 minutes. COMPATIBILITY: This kit is specifically designed for use with our Carousel and Gateway models of bathtub transfer benches. It is not compatible with the Bariatric Carousel. IMPORTANT NOTE: The addition of this extension kit will increase the overall length of your transfer bench by 8 inches. The original 24 inch rails will be replaced with 32 inch rails, providing an additional 4 inches of seating travel. We recommend measuring your tub carefully before ordering to ensure a proper fit. EXTRA SHOWER CHAIR TRAVEL: Our horizontal extension kit extends the seat travel on our Carousel/Gateway transfer benches, allowing for proper positioning in wider tubs. Adding this kit enables an additional 8 inches of travel, ensuring optimal placement in the center of the tub.
